Tutorial 2: Offset leap

1. Introduction

Case examples

An offset leap is a sudden change of the time alignment of picture and sound. Especially in the beginning time of video editing on PC's it happened regularly that frames or sound segments "got lost" during the recording, after which picture and sound sometimes no more ran in sync. But even in movies just purchased, now and then drastic divergences between picture and sound can be found.
